Subject: HTTP Web Server: Out Of Memory Exception
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Domino Server
Technical Area: Error Message
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.3
Reproducible: Always

I am upgrading from Domino 7.0.3 to 8.5.3 and my application is getting an error in the browser. The error received is HTTP Web Server: Out Of Memory Exception and occurs when I open a view with roughly 6000 records The error goes away if I reduce the number of records in the view to 5500. I am able to recreate the problem on both my development and production servers.

Both servers are brand new installations of Domino and have significantly more resources (memory, processors, disk space etc) than the existing 7.0.3 environment where the error does not occur. The web page generated by the view when it contains 5500 records is 2.6MB in size when gzip compression is turned off (the error occurs whether compression is on or off) so I am estimating that the page which generates the error would be roughly 3MB in size.

I am looking for any suggestions on identifying the cause of the issue or thoughts on configuration changes to be made to attempt to eliminate it.
